The Albury Wodonga Regional Deal was developed as a collaboration between the three levels of government and the community. The Australian, New South Wales and Victorian governments along with AlburyCity and City of Wodonga Councils have worked together on commitments that will deliver significant benefits for locals and visitors.
Overview
On the 25 March 2022, the Australian Government and the Councils of AlburyCity and City of Wodonga announced their funding commitments towards the Albury Wodonga Regional Deal.
The Australian Government has committed $80 million towards the Deal, supported by $37.8 million from AlburyCity and $10.5 million from the City of Wodonga.
The announcement of funding signals the intent to start delivering, for the benefit of the Albury Wodonga community.
