Review of the Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP) Flight Priorities ENR 1.4–10
In accordance with the Government's response to Recommendation 10 of the Aviation Safety Regulation Review Report (the ASRR Report) the Department, working closely with Airservices Australia (Airservices), the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and the Department of Defence (Defence), has completed a review of the policy on the assessment of flight priorities contained in AIP ENR 1.4–10 (the AIP Review).
The AIP Review recommended a number of changes to reflect International Civil Aviation Organization and international practices and the operation of modern Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM) tools by Airservices.
Commencement of new flight priorities
The new AIP Flight Priorities came into effect on 10 November 2016 as per AIP SUPP H150/1, a copy of which is available from the Airservices website:
Airservices has also published on its website Frequently Asked Questions in relation to the ATFM system and the AIP review, which are from the Airservices website: http://www.airservicesaustralia.com/publications/aeronautical-information-package-aip/
