Parking Infringement Notices Scheme (PINS)

The Department regulates landside vehicle parking and traffic enforcement (known as PINS) at participating airports. Currently, this includes Brisbane, Gold Coast, Hobart, Launceston, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, and Townsville airports.

PINS is administered under the Airports (Control of On-Airport Activities) Regulations 1997, pursuant to section 172 of the Airports Act 1996.

Airport Parking Restrictions and Enforcement

Each airport administers and enforces parking and traffic regulations individually. All airports are required to provide information on their Parking Signage Plans that illustrate various parking and traffic regulations across the airport.
