The World Boccia Challenger 2025 was held from 3–11 November 2025 at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) Arena in Canberra.
This marked the first international Boccia tournament in Australia in 13 years, and the first time the event was staged in the nation’s capital.
Boccia is one of the most inclusive sports in the world, designed for athletes with significant physical impairments. Athletes from 12 nations competed in singles, pairs, and team events. The Challenger showcased Australia’s commitment to hosting world-class para sport events and provided an opportunity for local communities to experience elite competition up close.
