Application for noise permit for historical aircraft

This form is for use by owners and operators of aircraft that do not have noise certification who wish to apply for a noise certification exemption under Regulation 14(3)(b) of the Air Navigation (Aircraft Noise) Regulations 2018. Aircraft are granted this permit to allow participation in airshows, maintenance, ferry and training flights.

The department requires a minimum of 10-business days to consider a noise permit application.

Insufficient information to allow for proper consider the application may constitute grounds for not approving an application.
