Domestic Border Controls—Freight Movements Protocol
On 24 July 2020, the National Cabinet National Cabinet agreed a new Domestic Border Control Freight Movement Protocol to keep freight moving around Australia while minimising risks to workers and the community from COVID-19 transmission.
The protocol, also endorsed by the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee, outlines measures that all states and territories agree will allow freight to move safely and efficiently across borders.
The department has received reports of false social media advertisements, posts and/or direct messages regarding individuals or organisations' eligibility for Community Development Programme grants.
These messages could present a risk of scamming activity and the department encourages anyone seeing such messages to report them using the tools provided by social media platforms wherever possible.
