Access to the NSW curriculum on Norfolk until 2023
Further to my announcement on 13 August that the Commonwealth was in discussions to extend use of the NSW curriculum, I am pleased to advise that the Australian Government has now been granted a license from the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) to use the NSW curriculum on Norfolk Island for 2022 and 2023.
This new licensing arrangement ensures the senior school cohort can complete their Higher School Certificate (HSC) while transition arrangements to Queensland operating the Norfolk Island Central School (NICS) from January 2022 are implemented.
