At the Infrastructure and Transport Ministers' Meeting (ITMM) on 30 September 2022, Ministers agreed to establish a Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) Reform Implementation Steering Committee to oversee development and implementation of legislative and non-legislative reforms.

Ministers previously agreed to progress this reform package at ITMM on 5 August 2022.
