Tasmanian Transport Schemes Review

The Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications, Sport and the Arts (the department) is collecting your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.

Use

The department may use your submission, including your personal information, to assist the independent reviewers of the Tasmanian Transport Schemes Review in providing recommendations to government on improvements to the Tasmanian Freight Equalisation Scheme (TFES) and the Bass Strait Passenger Vehicle Equalisation Scheme (BSPVES).

If you have registered your interest in attending any of the public consultation sessions, the department will use your personal information, to send you an invitation to meet with the independent reviewers and departmental officials.

Disclosure

The department may disclose your submission/feedback and personal information to the independent reviewers for use in the development of the recommendations in the final report of the Tasmanian Transport Schemes Review.

Contacting You

The department may also use your personal information to contact you regarding your submission, consultation process and any specific additional meetings in the future that relate to the Tasmanian Transport Schemes Review. This may occur in the form of direct meetings ('one-on-one meetings') or additional public consultation sessions.

You are not compelled by law to provide your name and contact information however if you do not, then we will not be able to invite you to a public consultation session with the independent reviewers and departmental officials.

The department will not otherwise use or disclose your personal information except as authorised by law.

Publication

The contents of your submissions will not be published in part or in full on the department’s website. The views contained in your submissions may be used to inform the preparation of a public response by the department, however you will not be identifiable by name in that public response.

Access
