The Department has a service delivery arrangement with the ACT Road Transport Authority to provide for services to the Jervis Bay Territory, including driver training and licensing. Through its Jervis Bay Territory Administration (JBTA) Office, the Department provides a shopfront for customer service and the co-ordination
of these services.
The JBTA Office has scheduled Road Ready and Road Ready Plus courses in September 2017, and also the Practical Driving Test for eligible learner drivers wishing to obtain their provisional driver licence (P plates).
Road Ready Course
A course for those wishing to obtain their learner driver licence.
Details
When: 12pm to 3pm on Tuesday 26 September 2017; and 9am to 12pm on Wednesday 27 September 2017
Where: Booderee National Park Training Room
Cost: Free—if still enrolled at school, proof of enrolment required. $180.00—if no longer enrolled at school, payable at the time of booking.
Road Ready Plus Course
An optional advanced road knowledge course for current Provisional Licence holders. After successfully completing the Road Ready Plus Course a Provisional Licence holder's demerit allowance increases from 4 to 8 points and the holder is no longer required to display ‘P’ plates.

Provisional Driving Test
