The Department has a service delivery arrangement with the ACT Road Transport Authority to provide for services to the Jervis Bay Territory, including driver training and licensing.

Through its Jervis Bay Territory Administration (JBTA) Office, the Department provides a shopfront for customer service and the co-ordination of these services.

The JBTA Office has scheduled the delivery of the following courses in June 2015:

Road Ready Course

A course provided for those wishing to obtain their learner driver licence.

When:

12pm to 3pm on Thursday 11 June 2015; and
9am to 12pm on Friday 12 June 2015.

Cost:

Free—if still enrolled at school, proof of enrolment required; or
$180.00—if no longer enrolled at school, payable at the time of booking.

Road Ready Plus Course

An optional advanced road knowledge course provided for current Provisional Licence holders. After successfully completing the Road Ready Plus course a Provisional licence holder's demerit allowance is increased from 4 to 8 points and the holder is no longer required to display ‘P’ plates.

When:

3pm to 6pm on Thursday 11 June 2015.

Cost:

$85.00—payable at the time of booking.
