Arriving from overseas
If you’re arriving back in Australia from overseas, you’ll need to complete an Incoming Passenger Card. If you’re not an Australian citizen, make sure you hold a valid visa where required.

Border Force officers have legislative powers to conduct baggage examinations and question you to identify breaches of certain customs, quarantine and other Commonwealth legislation, including the import and export of prohibited goods. If you have any concerns about questioning or examination, you should direct your inquiry to the officer or their supervisor at the time of questioning.
