The Australian Government has extended its arrangement with Toll Remote Pty Ltd to provide air freight services to Norfolk Island until June 2026.
The contract has been extended while an approach to market for longer term arrangements is completed.
There will continue to be three freight flights per fortnight.
The Australian Government underwrites regular air freight services to Norfolk Island to support the continuity of essential and time-sensitive freight to the remote territory. This support helps meet demand for critical supplies for residents and businesses.
The ongoing availability of freight to Norfolk Island remains a key priority for the Australian Government. By extending this arrangement, the Government reaffirms its commitment to supporting the island’s connectivity and access to reliable freight services.
