We have released our Action Plan in response to the Australian Public Service Commission’s (APSC) Capability Review that will guide reforms over the next 4 years.
The department volunteered to participate in the review which looked at current operations and how to improve operations.
Extensive work was undertaken to formulate the response through staff consultation via surveys and examining case studies from other governments.
The response and action plan also takes into account employee feedback from the 2023 APS Employee Census results and a plan is in place to ensure that staff feedback is taken into account via these broader reform projects.
We will include how we are implementing the action plan in our annual reports over the next 4 years.
