The new Midland train station in Perth’s northeast is the final of 23 stations to be built or upgraded as part of the METRONET program of works.
The new station is located to the east of the original station, providing the community with better linkages to the Midland Health Campus and the local shopping centre.
The project also includes a new 5 storey carpark for local commuters, a pedestrian overpass, and a new bus interchange.
It was jointly funded by the Australian and West Australian governments, as part of the broader METRONET program to improve the safety, accessibility and productivity of Perth’s rail network.
