Australian arts and cultural heritage organisations are invited to apply for Australian Government support with Round 17 of the Visions of Australia program now open.
Providing around $2.7 million over two funding rounds in 2023-24, the Visions of Australia program supports the development and touring of quality exhibitions across Australia with an emphasis on regional and remote venues.
The program promotes the sharing of a diverse array of Australian arts and cultural material with audiences across the country, beyond the main metropolitan centres. It supports the National Cultural Policy, Revive, by enabling more Australians to access and participate in arts and culture.
Round 17 is the first round for 2023-24 and will support projects starting from 1 January 2024. Projects eligible for funding must include at least three venues outside the applicant’s home state or territory and include regional and/or remote venues. More information on eligibility can be found in the Program Guidelines at Grant Connect.
Visions of Australia enables artists and organisations to inspire, educate and entertain audiences across Australia. The Government’s support through the Visions of Australia program means more job opportunities for artists and art workers and has significant flow-on benefits for the tourism industry and related sectors in regional and remote communities.
Applications for Round 17 close 5pm AEDT, 13 October 2023. To find out more and apply, visit www.arts.gov.au/funding-and-support/visions-australia.
