It will be quick, easy and free to register and you will be able to do this from 20 January 2021.
You only need to register once.
User registration will help the NRS know how many people are using the service and how they are using it. This information will help the NRS deliver a better and more tailored service.
For most NRS call options, there will be little or no change to making a call once you're registered, however if you use NRS Captions or NRS Chat you will need to log in and provide a password before starting your call.
People contacting you will not have to register but can only contact you if you are registered.
If you want to continue to use NRS you must register by 20 April 2021. Calls to emergency services will still be available to users who have not registered by this date.
It is a good idea to register early.
