Review of Accessible Public Transport

This year marks the 20th anniversary of Australia’s Disability Discrimination Act 1992 and the 2nd review of the Disability Standards for Accessible Public Transport is examining how well public transport meets the needs of disability access. Public consultation sessions in every major Australian city have started.

High Speed Rail Report Released

Phase two of a feasibility study into a high speed rail network for Australia’s east coast has been released by the Australian Government. The Department will be accepting feedback on the report until 30 June 2013.
