accesshub

We’re launching a new, improved version of Accesshub. Have a look at our Beta site (Access Hub Beta) and tell us what you think.

What is Accesshub? Who is it for?

Accesshub is set of pages on the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications' website. It has information for people who are Deaf, hard of hearing or who have a speech impairment and need to communicate over the phone.

This information is also useful for people who need to communicate over the phone with a person who is Deaf, hard of hearing or who has a speech impairment.

On Accesshub you'll find information about all types of communication options, covering lots of different mainstream technologies. You will also find information and access to the National Relay Service – a service from the Australian Government which provides options to communicate with a hearing person over the phone with the help of a relay officer.

What will you find on this page?

Just below, you'll find a video in Auslan and with captions about Accesshub.

Then, under What's New you'll find all the latest news in Accesshub news stories.

Underneath the news stories you can also sign up to receive this news straight to your inbox.

Finding information on Accesshub

At the bottom of the page, in navy blue you'll find two choices:

Information about the National Relay Service, for communicating with the help of a relay officer and other communication options, for communicating independently.

On each page of Accesshub you'll find options for more information at the bottom of each page.
