NBN rollout over halfway complete

The National Broadband Network (NBN) rollout has reached a major milestone with more than half of all Australian homes and businesses now ready for service.

One in two Australian homes and businesses are now able to access fast, affordable broadband on the NBN and the company remains on track to complete the rollout of the entire network to every home and business by 2020.

The network build in regional Australia is now over two-thirds completed, meaning NBN construction is steadily shifting to major urban areas and cities with higher population densities.

Accordingly, nbn has restructured its operations to place more emphasis on improving customer experience as more Australians contact their retail broadband service provider to sign up for superfast broadband.
