Thank you for your interest in a recently advertised vacancy in the Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development (the Department). Applicants must be Australian citizens to be eligible for engagement. The successful applicant will need to hold or undergo a comprehensive security assessment BEFORE commencement. Loss of a security clearance at any time will lead to termination of employment. Starting salaries will be within the range specified for the APS level and will depend on experience.
Special provisions apply to excluding persons who have accepted a voluntary redundancy from the APS. If you have accepted a voluntary redundancy from the APS please visit the Australian Public Service Commission website to confirm your exclusion period.

Preparing Your Application
Your application should be brief and address the selection criteria. A selection decision may be based solely on your written application and referee reports, and it is the quality, rather than the quantity that is the most critical factor.
When preparing your application, please note that selection criteria 1–5 has a combined word limit of 1500 words and selection criteria 6 has a word limit of 500 words. It is important to remain within the word limit or your application may not be considered. Applications which do not address the selection criteria may not receive consideration.
You are encouraged to address each selection criterion giving key examples and/or achievements and attach a brief statement of your employment history in the form of a CV or resume.
When responding to the selection criteria, you can cut and paste from Microsoft Word or type directly into the field in myRecruitment. Please note that some formatting will not translate into myRecruitment so please review your responses before submitting.
