Transport Security Program Improvement Working Group (TSPIWG)
The Transport Security Program Improvement Working Group(TSPIWG) is a Working Group formed by Aviation Security Advisory Forum (ASAF). It seeks engagement by industry to provide feedback to Office of Transport Security (OTS) on improvements to Transport Security Programs (TSP).
The focus of the TSPIWG will be to provide a forum for industry to discuss issues of mutual concern in relation to the improvement of TSPs. Matters will include (but not limited to); relationship of legislative framework changes that may be required; specific content of TSPs requiring clarification; Identification of segment development priorities; and the quality of industry guidance, which will be based upon industry segmentation.
Participation in TSPIWG is by invitation and generally includes representatives from ASAF and the Regional Industry Consultative Meeting (RICM).
Meetings will be held on an 'as-required' basis (where possible to coincide with ASAF). TSPIWG is chaired by the General Manager, Transport Security Operations, Office of Transport Security, Department of Infrastructure and Transport.
