Vehicle Equipped with an Air Conditioner

Vehicles equipped with an air conditioner that may be subject to the provisions of the Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouses does not fall within the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government area of responsibility.

Specific requirements have been established by the Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts. Details are available on their webpage Ozone Depleting Substances and Synthetic Greenhouse Gases.

Licences and reporting requirements for the import, export and manufacture of Ozone Depleting Substances and Synthetic Greenhouse Gases are required. Please refer to their website for details.
