Can you get a grant?

The role of the ONA is focused on policy advice to government on promoting sustainable development in northern Australia, and on improving communication and coordination across governments, business and communities on issues affecting northern Australia.

The ONA is not in a position to directly provide substantial grants (although the ONA does provide some sponsorship funds to assist key events in northern Australia).  However, in playing its policy, communication and coordination roles, the ONA may recommend that the Government adopt certain policies or that responsible agencies provide assistance to specific projects.

For further information on grants, visit the GrantsLINK website.
