The application period for Round Three RLCIP $100 million opens on Monday 5 July 2010 and will close at 5pm AEST Friday 30 July 2010.
Guidelines and other information for Round Three of the $100 million allocated component of the RLCIP are available by clicking on the Round Three link below.
Advice to Councils regarding Regional and Local Community Infrastructure Program (RLCIP) Project events
While the ordinary business of government continues during the caretaker period, Councils should note that there may be a reduced likelihood of Australian Government representation at events.
Councils should still send event invitation templates to: regionalgrants@infrastructure.gov.au.
Australian Government representation at events will be at the discretion of the Minister's Office. The date and timing of the event will be settled with the Minister's Office. The Office will contact Councils directly regarding Australian Government representation at events.
In accordance with the caretaker conventions applying during the election period, Councils should also extend an invitation to attend to their local members and candidates from all parties that could form government once the details of the event are settled.
If you require further information, please contact the RLCIP information line on 1800 005 494 at the Department.
At the Australian Council of Local Government meeting on 18 June 2010, the Prime Minister announced additional funding of $100 million for the allocated component of the Regional and Local Community Infrastructure Program.
