The Australian Government is increasing the productivity of local bridges through the Bridges Renewal Programme.
$300 million over five years will help improve access to local communities, especially for heavy vehicles.
Successful applications from state, territory and local governments are selected through a competitive, merit-based process to receive up to 50 per cent of repair or replacement costs.
