Career Opportunities
One APS Career ... Thousands of Opportunities
The Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government has over 1000 great minds working to improve the quality of life for all Australians.
The Department is at the centre of the Australian Government's agenda for regional Australia and transport issues. It supports the Government in achieving a better transport system, as well as achieving greater recognition and development opportunities for local and regional communities. To support the Department's diverse and challenging responsibilities staff are located in Canberra and regional offices around Australia.
The Department advertises jobs on this website, as well as on APSJobs, the press and/or online. We also conduct an annual recruitment campaign for our Graduate Development Program.
Employment is only open to Australian citizens, although in some cases, non-Australian citizens may be considered for employment. Any offer of employment will generally be made on the condition that an applicant is eligible to obtain Australian citizenship and will endeavour to do so.
