  • An independent statutory authority since 1995, CASA is responsible the safety regulation of civil aviation operations in Australia, and Australian aircraft operating outside Australian territory. It also provides safety education and training programs.

  • The Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) is Australia's prime agency for the independent investigation of civil aviation accidents, incidents and safety deficiencies.
